This cottage comes with country-style décor. The open-plan living area includes lounge, dining table and well-equipped kitchen with oven, stove and microwave. A bath and shower can be found in the private bathroom. The cottage is serviced daily.
Guests can enjoy the swimming pool and bird life in the garden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and there is also secure, off-street parking.
AppleBee Guest Cottage is located just 800 m from Rhodes University and 1 km from the Botanical Gardens. Observatory Museum is 2 km away and Port Alfred Airport is 60 km from the cottage.

- Check-in time is between 14h00 - 21h00
- Check out time is by 10h00
- Requests for early arrival or late check out must be made directly with the Guesthouse
- Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Guesthouse reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 10% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 32+ days prior to the arrival date.
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 100% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 0-31 days prior to the arrival date.
- No Shows and Early Departures are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
PREPAYMENT:
- A total of 100% is required 30 days before arrival of booking
- 100% prepayment for all 1 night stays
CHILDREN & BEDS:
Children aged 3 years and above are considered adults at this property.
Cot and extra bed policies
0 - 3 years old are charged R350 per person, per night
Prices for extra beds are not included in the total price, and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
The number of extra beds allowed is dependent on the option you choose.
There are no cots available at this property.
All extra beds are subject to availability.
NOTE: Name change on the booking can be done for an additional R500 should the member not travel with.

Do I need the whole amount available in my wallet
You do not need to have the whole amount available in your travel wallet. Any outstanding amount may be settled by EFT

Yes, you can pay cash upfront. Even if you have the full, or partial amount in your travel wallet, if you choose to you may pay for your trip entirely with case, sent to us by EFT
Can I get a refund if I can't make my trip?
Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.
Does the total include flights and visas?
No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
