Hacklewood Hill Country House

Hacklewood Hill is a Victorian manor house in Port Elizabeth with individually decorated rooms and a large garden. The grounds include a tennis court and outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers.

The rooms feature private balconies overlooking the landscaped garden. They contain Victorian features and some are furnished with four-poster beds, open fireplaces or claw-foot baths. All room have a spacious private bathroom.

Guests can enjoy a fine-dining experience in the restaurant, which has wooden floors, white table clothes and chandeliers. Breakfast can also be enjoyed in the privacy of the rooms.

It is a 10-minute drive to the beach in Humewood and there are 3 golf courses within 3.1 mi of Hacklewood Hill Country House.

Free private parking is available and a shuttle can be requested to Port Elizabeth Airport, only 2.5 mi away.

Check-in time between 14h00 - 23h30
The check-out time is 11h00
Early check-in (after 06h00) or late check-out (up to 18h00) will be charged 50% of one night’s bed and breakfast rate, after which an additional night’s room charge will be levied – subject to availability
Guaranteed early check-in or late check-out will be subject to one full night’s bed & breakfast rate.

CANCELLATION:

Note that if cancelled, modified, or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
All cancellations will only be accepted in writing and the following penalties will apply:

Reservation cancelled within 32-60 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee applies
Reservation cancelled within 0-31 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee applies
No Show reservations will be charged in full

Peak Season:
31 – 60 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will be charged
0 – 30 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee will be charged

PREPAYMENT:

You'll be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation

A total of 50% is required 32 days before arrival of booking
A total of 100% is required 0 - 31 days before arrival of booking
100% prepayment for all 1 night stays

CHILDREN & BEDS:

Children under 8 years by prior arrangement.
The applicable Child Rate will apply to children older than 3 years, when sharing with two full paying adults.
Children under the age of 3 years will be accommodated on Complimentary Basis, when sharing with two full paying adults, in either a cot or stretcher bed. Dependant on room availability

NOTE: Name changes are subject to an R500 name change fee.

Do I need the whole amount available in my wallet
