Harbour House Hotel in Hermanus enjoys the most prominent of positions in the heart of the old harbour area, flanked by the seaside and the bustling centre of this holiday town. There is a wine bar and an outdoor pool.

Harbour Square rooms are within walking distance to the main reception area and the building has a rooftop pool and underground parking. The rooms at Harbour Square feature tea-and-coffee-making facilities, air conditioning and heating. Suites also feature a kitchen and lounge area.

Manor House Romantic rooms, come with a views over the garden and pool area from a balcony or patio and feature solid cast baths.

Harbour House rooms featuring modern sophisticated décor, a kitchenette and a lounge room with a TV. Some rooms have a private balcony.

Brealfast vouchers are redeemable at Deli @ Harbour House Hermanus. The deli serves freshly brewed coffee and a selection of home baked goods.

The hotel is in easy walking distance of the town’s top attractions, whale watching sites, markets, restaurants, street cafés and an abundance of reserved natural splendour. Guests can walk through the garden or sunbathe poolside. The tour desk can help organise a day excursion and make suggestions for other local activities.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:

  • Check-in time is between 15h00 - 23h00
  • Check out time is by 11h00
  • Requests for early arrival or late check out must be made directly with the Hotel
  • Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Hotel reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All changes to the original booking must be received in writing via email
The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:
  • Between 47 and 31 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 50% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
  • Between 30 and 0 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
  • No shows will be charged for in full.

PEAK SEASON:
Between 90 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;

PREPAYMENT:

You'll be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation
A total of 100% is required 30 days before arrival of booking, but 100% payment is required 60 days before arrival of booking in Peak Season.
100% prepayment for all 1 night stays

CHILDREN & BEDS:

Children of any age are welcome.

Children aged 15 years and above are considered adults at this property.

To see correct prices and occupancy information, please add the number of children in your group and their ages to your search.

Cot and extra bed policies
  • 0 - 2 years old are FREE
  • 3 - 14 years old are ZAR 350 per child, per night

Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.

The maximum number of extra beds and cots allowed is dependent on the room you choose.

All cots and extra beds are subject to availability.

NOTE: Name change on the booking can be done for an additional R500 should the member not travel with.

Do I need the whole amount available in my wallet

You do not need to have the whole amount available in your travel wallet. Any outstanding amount may be settled by EFT

Can I pay cash upfront?

Yes, you can pay cash upfront. Even if you have the full, or partial amount in your travel wallet, if you choose to you may pay for your trip entirely with case, sent to us by EFT

Can I get a refund if I can't make my trip?

Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.

Does the total include flights and visas?

No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
