All of the spacious, air-conditioned rooms at the Southern Sun Cape Sun feature views of either Table Mountain, Robben Island, or Table Bay. Each has an antique-style décor and an en suite with a bath and shower.
A buffet breakfast is served daily, with lunch and dinner available at Riempies Restaurant. The cuisine combines the modern and traditional and reflects the region’s Cape Dutch heritage. Guests can also relax at Le Bar and Lounge which is situated in the hotel lobby.
The hotel is located a 12-minute walk from The Company Gardens, while the Green Market Square can be reached within a 4-minute walk.
Guests can try one of the golf clubs in the region, including Rondebosch Golf Club just 10 km away. The Cape Town International Convention Center is 10 minutes’ walk away, and the Cape Town International Airport is 20 km from the Southern Sun.

- Requests for early arrival or late check out must be made directly with the Hotel
- Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Hotel reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:
- Between 47 and 31 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 50% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
- Between 30 and 0 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
- No shows will be charged for in full.
PEAK SEASON:
- Between 90 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
PREPAYMENT:
- You'll be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation
- A total of 100% is required 30 days before arrival of booking, but 100% payment is required 90 days before arrival of booking in Peak Season.
- 100% prepayment for all 1 night stays
CHILDREN & BEDS:
Children aged 18 years and above are considered adults at this property.
