Featuring an outdoor shower, each guest room is warm and inviting with touches of bright colors. Each bungalow has a private bathroom fitted with a bath and complete with complimentary amenities. All rooms are equipped with a ceiling fan and a safe, while a hairdryer and tea-and-coffee-making facilities are available on request.
Guests of Umngazi Hotel & Spa have beach and river access and can enjoy a variety of activities in the area; including bird Watching, fishing, and local guided hikes. Guests can bring their own bicycles and the hotel can provide a guide for a guided biking trail on request.

- Rate will be higher during In-Season.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- 3 meals per day & mid-morning/mid-afternoon tea/coffee breaks
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
- Check-in time is between 14h00 - 20h00
- Check out time is by 10h00
- Requests for early arrival or late check out must be made directly with the Hotel
- Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Hotel reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:
- The member will be charged 1 night worth of value value should the booking be cancelled;
- Between 30 and 0 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
- No shows will be charged for in full.
PEAK SEASON:
- Between 90 days prior to the arrival date, the member will be charged 100% of the portion of the cancelled booking value should the booking be cancelled;
PREPAYMENT:
- You'll be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation
- A total of 100% is required 30 days before arrival of booking, but 100% payment is required 90 days before arrival of booking in Peak Season.
- 100% prepayment for all 1 night stays
CHILDREN & BEDS:
- 12-23 Months: R320
- 2 - 4 years: R580
- 5 - 7 years: R885
- 8 - 11 years: R1020
Children 12 and above are considered adults at this property.

NOTE: Name change on the booking can be done for an additional R500 should the member not travel with.

You do not need to have the whole amount available in your travel wallet. Any outstanding amount may be settled by EFT

Yes, you can pay cash upfront. Even if you have the full, or partial amount in your travel wallet, if you choose to you may pay for your trip entirely with case, sent to us by EFT
Can I get a refund if I can't make my trip?
Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.
Does the total include flights and visas?
No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
