What's Included
This Getaway will include 2 nights and 3 days in Pumba Private Game Reserve & Spa, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Some highlights of your stay will be:

- You will be able to contact Asambeni should you require assistance while on your trip. This is to ensure that you have a great Getaway while on the Game Reserve. One of the Asambeni Getaway Gateway member will contact you on the day to ensure your arrival was pleasant.
Transportation
Flights are not included in the trip. Should you need to book a flight, you would have to book to land at either the Eastgate Airport or OR Tambo Airport or you can contact Asambeni Getaway to assist you with getting one of the best flight prices to Limpopo. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.
NOTE: There will be no transfers included between the airport(s) and lodge. If you require assistance you can be assisted on request.

Hotel Details
The 5-star Pumba Private Game Reserve lodge has views from a private wooden deck overlooking Lake Kariega or the African bush. Located 20 km from Grahamstown, some chalets include a private plunge pool.
Pumba Game Reserve includes a swimming pool and a well-equipped gym facility. Guests can also relax at the exclusive spa and wellness centre with sauna.
All of the air-conditioned chalets have natural wooden or stone features, luxury furnishings and a thatched roof. A fireplace, a four-poster bed and a private bathroom are common in all very spacious interiors.
A hearty buffet breakfast is served daily on the terrace and light lunches are available in the afternoon. The à la carte restaurant has gourmet cuisine and a bar/lounge area has an extensive wine selection.
The lodge provides many opportunities for viewing the Big 5 and you can also organize a 4WD Safari tour.
Port Elizabeth Airport is a 1.5-hour drive away.
Policies
CHECK-IN – CHECK OUT
- Check-in time is 14h00. Check-out time is 11h00
CANCELLATION:
Note that if cancelled, modified, or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
All cancellations will only be accepted in writing and the following penalties will apply:
- Reservation cancelled within 32-60 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee applies
- Reservation cancelled within 0-31 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee applies
- No Show reservations will be charged in full
Peak Season:
- 31 – 60 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will be charged
- 0 – 30 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee will be charged
PREPAYMENT:
- You will be charged a prepayment of 50% upon reservation
- 30 days before arrival you will be required to make 100% payment
CHILDREN & BEDS:
No children under 6 years are permitted, unless by special prior arrangement.
- For their own safety, children under the age of 6 years are not permitted to go on normal big 5 game drives.
- Child Minders are available, by prior arrangement, at an additional cost
- When sharing with two full paying adults, children under the age of 3 years are accommodated on a Complimentary Basis in either a cot or a stretcher bed.
- When sharing with two full paying adults, children between 4 and 11 years will be charged the applicable Child Rate - Room specific
- When sharing with two full paying adults, children between 12 years and 17 years will be charged the applicable Child Rate - Room Specific
- When sharing with two full paying adults, children of any age, pay the 3rd and 4th person rates in the Msenge 2 Bedroom Unit and Kudu 2 Bedroom Unit
- Children under the age of 6 years are not permitted on Day Safaris
- Children 6 to 11 Years will pay the applicable Child Rate
Name Change Policy: Name changes are subject to a R500 name change fee.
In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

Do I need the whole amount available in my wallet
You do not need to have the whole amount available in your travel wallet. Any outstanding amount may be settled by EFT
Can I pay cash upfront?
Yes, you can pay cash upfront. Even if you have the full, or partial amount in your travel wallet, if you choose to you may pay for your trip entirely with case, sent to us by EFT
Can I get a refund if I can't make my trip?
Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.
Does the total include flights and visas?
No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
