Just 50 years ago, Sandton consisted primarily of large, private estates and smallholdings. Today it’s South Africa’s main business centre, as well as one of the key financial hubs on the African continent.
Sandton is home to upwards of 10,000 businesses, as well as the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It includes the country’s most sought-after office space, along with upmarket apartments, opulent hotels, bustling shopping malls and popular cafés and clubs.

- Sandton City is Africa's most iconic shopping centre. Defining the Sandton skyline, this prestigious setting is home to over 376 of the world's most coveted retail brands, and embodies all the glamour of world-class shopping, dining, and leisure.
- Sandton CBD forms part of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. The name of the town came from the combination of two of its suburbs, Sandown and Bryanston.
- 33 years before gold was found in the Witwatersrand, it was found in Sandton! – in 1853, prospector Pieter Jacobus Marais panned for and found gold in the Braamfontein Spruit, the river now crossed by the William Nicol Bridge

Transportation
Flights are not included in the trip. Should you need to book a flight, you would have to book to land at the O.R. Tambo International Airport or Lanseria or you can contact Asambeni Getaway to assist you with getting one of the best flight prices to Pretoria. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.
NOTE: There will be no transfers between the airport and hotel, that can be arranged for you on request.

Day 1
- Check into the hotel at any time after 3 p.m.
- 2-5 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.
- 6:30 p.m.: Welcome reception at the hotel with alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks (1 per person)
- The rest of the evening at your leisure. Dinner is at your own expense.
Day 2
- 6:30-10 a.m.: La Carte/Buffet breakfast in the main dining room.
- Day at your leisure
- 6p.m.: Dinner at Lacuna Bistro

Day 3
- 6:30-9:30 a.m.: La Carte/Buffet breakfast in the main dining room.
- Check out of the hotel by 10 a.m.
*The minimum age to consume alcohol is 18 years. Age is determined at the time of travel.

Hotel Details
Situated in the central business district of Sandton, The Maslow Hotel, Sandton is 10 minutes’ walk from Nelson Mandela Square and Sandton City Mall. It offers luxurious accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a swimming pool.
Featuring a contemporary décor with carpeted floors, all accommodation at The Maslow is furnished with warm colours. Each suite offers a panoramic city view and comes with a living room and a private bathroom.
With views of the city, the on-site Africology Spa offers products and treatments that are natural, holistic and eco-friendly. The Maslow Hotel, Sandton offers conference and meeting facilities, and a wedding venue is available on site. Other facilities include the manicured garden and a transit lounge available for early arrivals and late departure guests. The secure transit lounge is fitted with TV’s and shower facilities and light refreshments are available.
You can dine at The Lacuna Bistro where an à la carte breakfast is served in addition to lunch and dinner, with a variety of sea food and South African wine. The Lacuna Bar serves comfort food and alcoholic beverages and there is a private dining option available.
The Hotel offers complimentary shuttles to the Gautrain Sandton Station, 1 km away and Sandton City Shopping Centre which 1.2 km from the property. It departs from the Hotel every 30 minutes. Wanderers Cricket Stadium is 12 minutes away by car. The tour desk can arrange local excursions.

- Check-in time is from 14h00
- Check out time is by 11h00
- Requests for early arrival or late check out must be made directly with the Hotel
- Every effort will be made to accommodate the request however the Hotel reserves the right to levy an additional charge to accommodate different check-in /out times.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- All changes to the original booking must be received in writing via email
- The member has the right to cancel a booking but the following penalties will apply:
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 50% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 45+ days prior to the arrival date.
- Bookings cancelled are subject to a 100% cancellation fee on the booking value of the entire stay if cancelled within 0-45 days prior to the arrival date.
- No Shows and Early Departures are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
PREPAYMENT:
- You'll be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation
- A total of 100% is required 30 – 14 days before arrival of booking
- 100% prepayment for all 1 night stays
CHILDREN & BEDS:
Children of any age are welcome.
Children 13 years and above will be charged as adults at this property.

Can I get a refund if I can't make my trip?
Yes, a full or partial refund may be applicable to you if you are no longer able to make your trip. An important note: Whether you can be refunded, and how much you can be refunded, depends on the terms and conditions of the travel package and accommodation where you have booked.
Does the total include flights and visas?
No. Flights and other travel items are arranges separately from your travel package and will therefore be at an additional cost, unless otherwise stated in the package you have chosen.
